What is the Blink XT2?
The Blink XT2 is the next-generation of the XT and offers new and improved features such as two-way audio, customizable motion detection, double the battery usage, and live view recording, all for an even lower price!
Will my XT covers fit the XT2?
No, the XT covers do not have a hole in the bottom for the speaker that is on the XT2. New covers are being produced specifically for the XT2, however, at this time we do not have any other details on the release. Stay tuned to Blink for Home for more details.
I just purchased a Blink XT system will the Blink XT2 camera work with this?
Yes the XT2 will work with your existing Blink System as it uses the same sync module. You can have up to 10 Blink devices per sync module as long as they are all within the 100ft operating range of the sync module in any direction. The cameras on the sync module can be in any combination.
Why can’t I purchase the Blink XT anymore?
The Blink XT2 is the next-generation of the XT and offers new and improved features such as two-way audio, customizable motion detection, double the battery usage, and live view recording, all for an even lower price! We believe this is the best option for our customers and have shifted our production to XT2.
Do I need a new/additional Sync module?
No. If you have an existing Blink system, simply use the add device function in the Blink App to add XT2. If you are new to Blink, you need to pre-order one of the system configurations.
