internal memory, so you can test and save
up to 300 full graphical test results to
350 MHz. Insert a 32 MB memory card and
extend this to 600 results. Using the
removable multimedia card allows you to
keep the DSP on site. Take the memory
card back to the office or mail the card to
your customer.

Accurate cable ID download
saves time
No more clumsy and time-consuming text-
entry to enter cable IDs into the DSP. Just
download the cable IDs from any applica-
tion that can generate a text file: for
example, a labeling software, a database
manager, a spreadsheet, LinkWare™
Software, or a third-party infrastructure
management package. Downloading the
cable IDs in advance saves time in the
field by eliminating the need to manually
enter cable IDs into the tester. It also
saves time in the office by ensuring that
test result IDs match exactly the cable IDs
in the company’s infrastructure manage-
ment or labeling software.

Adapter can be terminated with a choice
of several personality modules to offer
maximum flexibility and optimum test
results. The DSP-4300 includes the standard
PM06 Cat 6 Personality Module. The PM06
is the cabling industry's first centered,
shielded test plug designed to certify link
as well as connecting hardware compliance
to the TIA/EIA-568-B.2-1 Cat 6 standard.
The PM06 tests UTP, FTP and ScTP links
and is the recommended solution for Cat 6,
Cat 5e, Cat 5 and Cat 3 systems. No other
solution allows you to see the true perform-
ance of the cabling system to achieve an
“open” cabling system.
