1Reply3 months ago | 3 months agoBeeping My Konica Minolta - SRX101A keeps beeping and the run light is flashing. I've cleaned it, there is no foreign object stuck anywhere, the gears are clean and turn smoothly when turned manually. the Gear shaft is also clean. I am out of ideas. I don't know what else to do to get it to work. Do I need to replace the motor ? Cause clearly.. it seem to be overloaded... what to do ?Reply |

What are OAEs? Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) are sounds in the ear canal that originate from movement by the outer hair cells of the cochlea.OAEs are generated only when the Organ of Corti is in normal or near normal condition. This outer hair cell motion is transmittedby the middle ear ossicles and eardrum to the external ear canal. Consequently, OAEs can be detected only when the middle earfunction is normal. There are two categories of AOEs, spontaneous and evoked. Current clinical applications are confined to two types of evoked AOEs that are distinguished by the stimulus used to elicit each. |
TEOAEs (Transiently Evoked Otoacoustic Emissions), are elicited by abrupt, brief stimuli such as broadband clicks or tonebursts. They can be recorded in nearly all persons with normal peripheral hearing. |
DPOAEs (Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions), are produced by the ear in the response to two simultaneous pure-tone stimulidenoted as primary tones that are close in frequency, but separated by a specific ratio of the higher frequency to the lower (f2/f1). TheDistortion Product is the result of the intermodulation of the primary tones applied and is not identical to either of them. Since DPOAEsare individual tones that are frequency-specific, they can be plotted and utilized to derive additional information about the ear’s responseor function. |
